Do you have a grudge against your bank account?
A guy I work with bought one of these with about 40k on it over two years ago own and it’s actually been pretty damn reliable for him. He knows it’s a headache waiting to happen, but I don’t think they are really as bad as the Internet claims. Still, repairs are pricey.

My understanding is that the chains are pretty durable but the plastic guides can fail frequently.
