Its been a while since I’ve seen a peak shadow. I need more.

Should brought bug spray though

Those yellow pixels on the water? Mosquitoes. They were EVERYWHERE! 3-4 biting at a time within a few square inches. We got some aid from a passing traveler who gave us some DEET wipes and pretty much saved our lives.

It’s like Alpenglow, but throwing shade! Nice shots.

Best I ever saw was Mt. Pilatus over Luzern, Switzerland. But any peak with a steep aspect is awesome. Humpreys in AZ is another. A lot of the Rockies and Sierras are hit or miss since so many are part of a massif.

Colorado Front Range is also amazing.

Im usually not up there for sunset or sunrise so I don’t see too many. This and maybe one other. Thing is this isn’t even that major a peak but it threw some nice shade. Wish I had something better than my phone
