My uncle’s 250,000+km 1991 Honda Goldwing GL1500/6.
The odometer read 276,100kms. It’s in perfect shape, paint looks brand new (it’s also original), been to all the province’s & territories (except Nunavut), & states except Hawaii. He’s also the original owner. He thinks it will get close to 300,000kms by the end of season. I just loves to ride.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaang. And here I am thinking I’m a big shot for ringing up almost 3k miles on my KLR 650 in just three months....

He used it as his “DD” for 15 years, commuting 120kms round trip every day. About 10 years ago he stopped “DD” it 10 years ago.

It’s not even high mileage for a Goldwing. A well maintained Goldwing will go 300,00+ miles.

That’s true, and makes GWs even more endearing to me.

Yes, I’m aware that’s low.......but then again I see people on the KLR forums selling bikes with well under 250 miles/yr on them so I figure I’m at least getting my purchase cost out of it at 1,000 miles/mo.
