its a popular lean meat. very tough and needs to be cooked perfectly otherwise it will get too chewy. I eat it every few months when I’m bothered

I’ve once had an omelet made with canned kangaroo meat (bought from a store in the middle of Finnish countryside no less). I can’t remember the exact taste but it was quite good.

The fillets are tasty but the leg steaks need work to soften them up. Minced kangaroo meat makes an excellent rissole or chilli con carne.
