I have pointed out to people before that the crossover craze is really just about getting back to the *standard format* of the mid-50s and earlier. Higher threshold, higher roof, upright seating position, return to sloped “hunchback” two-box body shape, etc. etc.
This just makes it more vivid than normal.

This just highlights the terrible war on windows even more. The proportions in that first pic are just.....gross.
It looks like it needs an anti-inflammatory quite badly. Also the fake window on the D-pillar could have been tossed, since it’s non-functional and a mismatch from the inspiration.
I like the idea, but even a skilled craftsman can’t fix what is so egregiously broke.

Those were pretty dark times for me. Googling, searching twitter and instagram, and cardomain for anything that hosted the Crosstour.

I am shocked that that works as well as it does. And it is an improvement over the factory Crosstour, primarily because the Pobeda was a more attractive car to begin with.
