How is the diesel cheaper than regular? This is north of Fort Worth

Glut on the market, low prices all around, warm area not in Winter with no need for heating oil.

Not to get my Oppo card revoked, but I fucking HATE diesel and hope it dies. The last thing I want is to live in a country that smells like a Spanish city.

Similar delta in WA for months. Especially fun in a diesel car where the gasoline equivalent model requires premium.

A few weeks ago all the prices on the digital price sign at the BP near us all read 0.00 99/100 so I was contemplating going in and demanding to be charged one cent per gallon. I did not. Wouldn’t be surprised if someone did though.

I paid $1.83 at Costco before we left. It got up to about $2.40 in Chicago, and went down steadily as we returned south. It was under $2 in OK, but then jumped to $2.25 when I came across the Red River into northern TX.

Ruins things, can ruin an engine. Carbs too. AAA has come out about the 15% ethanol fuels ruining things. I run additives to counteract it in my Z. I don’t think diesel has any so I’m ok with the Merc.

Yeah, for my Z I try to fill up with high octane at the race track since I don’t put a ton of miles on the car. It’s Sunoco no ethanol and higher octane options that regular stations. I have triple carbs so the more the better!

BTW, glad your back safe.
