Took a Chrysler Crossfire to 200,000 miles. I may be a lot of things, but a quitter isn’t one of them.
Okay but really, I need to buy a new car now.

what is the “NO” for?

Chrysler Crossfire and 200,000 miles sound foreign together. :) What’s what “NO” thing all about?

Too many speeding tickets. Used to be a lot less faded.

Too stop myself from going over 80, doesn’t really work anymore.

Does that 200 really have a 160 mph speedo? I mean...why?

It’s like Mr Regular’s old bike.

Some say Milky to a chance to get a chrysler to 200k miles

Oooooh I have one of those, but for a different purpose!
Mine says “Make the healthy choice! Don’t beat yourself up! Be Happy! :) More salad, less bad breakfast!”
Basically I’m using positive affirmations so I can try to keep my life and emotions on track. :)

What kind of repairs/maintenance did it take to get you to those kind of miles?

I mean that needle has been to 145. Not trying to sound cool or say its fast, but it does scoot along nicely.

Drag-limited to 151mph. Scoots through the 1/4 mile in under 15 seconds. It’s certainly not slow.

What?! When did he do that? I swear I didn’t knowingly steal the idea.

I don’t know if I would want to do 140 in a 200, hats off to you.

bravery limited to somewhat less. I guess its no different than my land Cruiser wildly hopeful 130 mph speedo. I think it saw 98 once.

The best part of my ‘80s Cherokee was that it could bury the needle, mostly because the needle only went to 85mph.

okay...well that explains a lot then. I knew you had a crossfire but for some weird reason my brain stroked out and thought you said 200. All this makes so much more sense now.

I remember that needle. I also remember burying it. Still one of my favorite car interiors of all time.

I’ve never typed all this out before ... might cry.
ignition
pads/rotors all around (needs it again)
HVAC fan, twice (burned out again, probably a short somewhere)
like 5-6 wheel bearings
battery
alternator
more bulbs than I care to even think about counting
a couple sensors
I gave up this last year so now it’s issues are:
radiator fan doesn’t work (replaced it and the controller, no clue)
CEL for “engine pre-heater”, lol not replacing that
sagging headliner
shocks need to be replaced
....
I’m sure there are some things I’m forgetting.

If you owned it from new that’s not THAT bad for 200,000 miles.

From 92,000 miles, over the last 4.5 years. I know it really wasn’t that bad, but it wasn’t easy either.
And I forgot that I had 2 bad pulleys that shredded like 3-4 belts.

Years ago I had an 81 Camaro. There was no peg for the speedometer to stop on. I always enjoyed seeing it spin past 80mph (top speed guess of about 95 mph)

I know for a fact that the fastest my Cherokee could go with a 5-speed and Renix 4.0L is...93.8mph. Downhill.

Speeding problems. A few years ago I got 2 tickets, 2 weeks apart on the same stretch of road for doing 81-85. I needed the daily reminder.
