Never seen that before.... I would of went to a tire shop to see what they could do first.

Yikes. Looks like they should have asked the clever men about 6 hours ago.

Saw that a while back, still wondering why he didn’t just give up before he made such a mess, there are tools for that exact problem.

yeah... what you want to do now... is basically cut the rim so you can get the wheel off. Then you can probably remove the nut or hub.

My neighbor had this same issue. He tried same way you are doing it. Until he got one of those hole cutters for metal. You want one without a drill bit in the center and you want it deep so you can go over the stud and nut/bolt. Cut a hole big enough for the nut/bolt to slide through it and you can get the wheel off.

Discard the rim and get a new one.

Hole saw in the lug hole.

Edit: I thought it was a nut with a spinning lug. Oops

I’m hoping this isn’t yours (pretty sure I saw this elsewhere a couple days ago, and if you’re cutting up a rover, I’m guessing you can sort out how to remove a locking lug without destroying a wheel), but if it is/you ever encounter this problem:

Kinja'd!!!

Tap on locking lug with a hammer, snap impact into socket, set to reverse, and profit.

Aah, you’re right.

Extraction sockets only work on timid lock nuts, not bold ones.

I’d start with a hole saw and cut the wheel around the stud. Then, maybe a Vise Grip.
