Are you seeing what I’m seeing?!! The Ecosport is coming soon!! Oh, and I guess the Ranger comes out late 2018 or early 2019 and something about a Bronco in 2020. I didn’t realize everything was official already. Would love more info on the GT500 when you get a chance, Ford. The Bronco is being built in Michigan !

There was a promo tie-in campaign with Guardians of the Galaxy 2 where an EcoSport was blink-and-you’ll-miss-it briefly in the movie and there were supposed to be commercials for it and stuff. But for such a big movie, the hype generated for the car was minor.

The Ecosport was always a car for Latin America only, where we have lower standards for quality, I have no idea why Ford thought it was ready for export to Europe and now the US I would think that making an all new car would have been a better idea.

the one that launched in 2013 was intended more for emerging markets, and when they tried to sell it in Europe it was too “down-market” feeling compared to its competition.
the 2018 will be significantly nicer.
