I’m trying to keep the spending at the Goodwill Outlet down to a reasonable amount but sometimes I need to splurge. My target was the price of a cheap fast-food lunch, or about $5. All of the stuff above, including that near-perfect Dell full HD monitor and a bunch of cables and CDs, set me back about $15.
I don’t know what the Lunar Rover is from, but I’m a sucker for anything to do with the Apollo program. And yes, Vintage Space on YouTube is one of the channels that I subscribe to. Like Abom79 or AvE, it makes my day when I get notifications of new videos.

The rover is apparently from a 3 3/4 inch figure line called Galaxy Quest by Wild Adventure, I guess it’s ‘Moon Rover Alpha’. Looked like a GI Joe thing to me, so a little Googling that way got me there.

I haven’t looked at the disc itself to check its condition, but it does make me want to hook up a turntable. If nothing else I could just frame the cover.
