It’s essentially the last air cooled 911. Get it while you still can.
One new navigator on a car transporter all by itself. I wonder where it’s going.

Lincoln Blackwood or GTFAC.

You can take my carpeted plastic pickup-bed-shaped giant trunk from my cold dead hands. I mean, if I had one.

I used to work at a truck accessories place. you would be amazed with how many people, add a fiberglass lid or cap, with carpet, and carpet the bed.

I probably would be amazed. Like I get it, but also just don’t.

Any other full size SUV please. Hell, it makes a Sequoia look fresh.
Well at least they finally replaced it.

I have an Air-Cooled 911. I’ve owned it for a while. I’ve grown to appreciate its charms, unique behaviors and idiosyncrasies.
That Navigator...it’s no Air-Cooled 911.

But what if it’s actually a 993 with full width tail lights? You can see it right?! Third body style, subtle refreshes, them wide lights. Pretty much the same car.

For all the “creeping elegance / changes” of the 993, it’s also not a 911.
This is OPPO...you know better then that.

Don’t try to talk your way out of that 1960's greenhouse. It’s no better than Volvo or Saab in that respect.

In the early 2000's, I couldn’t go more than three blocks without seeing an Expediton of Navigator. It’s insane how popular they once were.

I still see “new” ones all of the time, but Detroit is the most biased place when it comes to buying cars. Hell, I see an Aspen like everyday.

Depending on what you’re hauling a bed carpet can make a lot of sense. And if you get the right one, they *can* *apparently* offer more protection than a bedliner.
...that said I’ll stick to a bedliner thanks

I seem to recall something about owners holding onto them for a long time though.

It is the anti-air cooled 911. Instead of being bouyed into 7-8 figure pricetag territory by rareness and desirability, it is beyond ubiquitous, and so undesirable, its parent company forgot to sell it. I wonder if they’d even bother with the police if it got stolen. “Oh well, at least it’s gone now. Finally...”

Was behind a Navigator and a MKX through a huge chunk of Oklahoma yesterday. They clearly were traveling together, and an Acura RDX decided to hop in line before they got to me. Well, I couldn’t let 3 crossovers/SUVs pass me in the Mustang, so I jumped into the convoy and, well, let’s just say we slightly exceeded the speed limit all the way through the great state of Oklahoma.

That’s not a picture of a 1998 navigator.. it’s alot newer then that. At least 2007 if not newer. I have a 2000 navigator which has the same body style as the 1998 and it looks nothing like that!
