Welcome to the 10th round of Formula Oppo, Oppositelock’s only game of fantasy formula 1. This week we head to Jersey, no not New Jersey, just plain old Jersey for some exciting racing.
Previously on formula oppo, this happened.
Valtteri Bottas got off to an amazing start that would make John Force proud. Sebastian bitched about it for most of the first half of the race. Ricciardo jumped Kimi on the first lap and he had a nearly uneventful race until he had Hamilton gunning for him at the end. Then he turned up the wick and finished with another third place finish. Hamilton suffered a 5-spot penalty for a gearbox change but still managed to crawl back into 4th. Kimi had issues with his Ferrari but crossed the line in 5th. Meanwhile Romain Grosjean found himself in 6th.
This week we head on out to Jersey for a grand prix most entertaining. Mercedes still shows that they have the power and Ferrari is for real. But, at least one Red Bull still has wings and Daniel is on one hell of a podium streak. Force India should also not be counted out to do well. Haas is coming up through the rankings and proving to be more and more competitive every race. Toro Rosso is suffering from internal issues. Williams might have a few more surprises left this season. Renault has nothing good going for them. Sauber is on life support and is excited to have Honda power for next year, bless their hearts. This leaves us with McLaren, who’s fall from grace is just one beer away from being a horrible country song...
