I remember at my previous job working for a supplier, I spent a couple of years triaging warranty parts (audio hardware, specifically.) I remember one time I got back an amplifier where the reason for return was “C/S NO SOUND FROM SPANKERS”

I guess maybe the customer got one of the rare “de Sade” packages on his Grand Marquis.

and that last one is sadly all too typical. back in my garage monkey days I’d have at least a couple people every month drive in on a completely flat tire and get all huffy when I told them I couldn’t repair a sidewall which had been torn to ribbons.

This was a banner week. The Chevy dash... my sides! Some of the crap here never ceases to amaze me... like how do you even fit a brake pad into the caliper backwards?! And how much forcing does it take when stuffing grease into a caliper before you think “hmm maybe brake fluid is supposed to go here not grease?”
