Um... don’t those angled spaces mean that by backing in, you’re stuck having to swing wide across two lanes when pulling out? Y’know, instead of simply backing into the nearest lane at a favorable angle?
...Or is this by chance a one-way street, in the direction of camera right , and those spaces are actually intended to be reversed into?

It’s a one way! They’re legit parked.
Anywhere near the SF bay area you’d have people u-turning to park nose in.

Well, I’ll be! I gotta admit, I wasn’t actually expecting that! Never seen angled parking that was meant for backing into, at least not in a public setting like this. That’s pretty cool! Yeah, the only angled parking I ever encounter is designed for nose-in parking.
