The problem is hardly anybody knows anymore so all you end up doing is pissing off the person in front of you... If it were a more widely acknowledged procedure it would be more useful. Better to just find a safe space and get past them as quickly as possible. On the flip side, I hate it when folks who clearly want around me never pass even though I give them all sorts of opportunity to do so and just sit on my butt. Hello Mcfly, grow a pair and go around me.

Paradise used to have a nice cafe etc.. when I was a kid. Not much there now. I grew up in Arlee/Missoula.

I’m always tempted to try coaxing a little liftoff oversteer on the twisty part next to the river just before Paradise, but someone always comes around one of the blind corners at the very last moment. Probably wouldn’t work anyway because I’m a terrible driver and I’d end up in the Clark Fork.
