The view from my breakfast table this morning. Always liked the Samurai.
Edit: It had a custom hardtop and diamondplate on the rear quarters (rust being an obvious assumption, I’ve seen that treatment on Wranglers). Gave the owner a thumbs up when he got in and drove off. It had great period correct graphics on the side (no SR20, was eating and already getting snarky comments about being a car geek).

I spotted one of these yesterday. JX trim, beige with 5-lug, 8-spoke white factory wheels.
Had this style of side stripe, but the stripe was white/gray instead of orange/tan.
It was completely immaculate. Soft top, completely stock. Wish I could have taken a picture. You’d love it! Maybe I’ll see it again sometime.
