Would you rather have a new Mustang GT or a used C7 Corvette? Both are near the same price and there are enough Corvettes to find a used one with the options you want.
Which one do you take home?

Carmax Vette.

I’d rather have the Vette, but I have 2 kids 10 and under that I occasionally have to transport, so I’d probably settle for the GT.

Probably the Corvette, I’ve always been a fan of those.

Mustang all the way. I’ve always been a fan and you look less like a tool in a mustang vs a corvette.
*note I said less like a tool ;)

GT. Might as well order one exactly how I want it.

The problem with the 40k $$ vettes is that they are first years with 30000+ k miles, and I could get the mustang I’d want for 29k if it’s a 2016 leftover

Used Corvette. It should be little, red and much too fast. :)
That being said, I’d probably sell it for a Quattroporte and XKR (depreciation ftw), because I can’t live with a plastic fantastic car like the Corvette.

On one hand, I dream of a supercharged Corvette runway car, on the other hand, I am not of AARP age.

I’d prefer the Vette, but I don’t fit in them very well, so Mustang.

I like the Corvette. I also like the Mustang. I actually had got to make this choice earlier this year... and I went with the Mustang, optioned exactly as I wanted it, and I got to drive it brand new off the lot and break it in the way I wanted. The new car smell still lingers. It’s great.
So, as shown above, my 2017 Mustang GT, with the Statue of Liberty in the background. ‘Murcah! :D
Still wouldn’t kick a Corvette out of the garage, though...

I think GT350 vs base C7 is the real choice.

Corvette. I am a GM guy to begin with and I feel it has more overall potential. Also aligns more with what I like in a vehicle. Something about the new Mustangs that just makes me not want one.
