That’s Gorilla tape. I used duct tape originally, but it lasted less than I week. This stuff survived all winter, but it’s about ready to be replaced.
I picked up a new fender a couple weeks ago. Just waiting to find a bumper cover in the right color so I can put my front end back together.

Fact. At one point I owned a Ford, a Jaguar, and a Chevy and I fucking hated that all my cars weren’t one brand and I can’t even figure out why. Now I’ve got a Toyota and the only second car I could get is a Toyota or Lexus when what I should really buy is another Corvair or shitty 80s Dodge K-car variant.

All my vehicles have a rational explanation as to why I own them.
1) Tercel - plaid (wait, is that rational?)
2) Vibe - wife wanted a reliable hatchback that got good fuel economy. I shopped hard within certain constraints. I even made sure to buy a later model 1st gen and avoid the early oil consuming 1ZZ-FEs that plagued Corollas, Vibes, and Matrices. She loves it.
3) Longbed - One, look at it. Two, I bought it for $1,000. I’ll never get more utility per dollar with other other vehicle in my lifetime.
4) Tacoma - actually an employer-provided vehicle

I do have loyalties, but competing ones.
Passenger: look first at Ford - they’ve treated me generally well and I have owned something like 12 of them so far in my lifetime. I do own two dead marques though (International and Willys).
Motorcycles: Honda as first choice all the way! I do own a couple Kawasaki and a Suzuki though. Some day I’ll own a Triumph, but I’m too poor still...

Like I know that ideally I should have cars from different brands because Toyota doesn’t make another car I like but there’s this thing in my brain that goes ‘ALL BADGES MUST BE THE SAME’.
