If the seller cut 1/3 off the price, they’re listening to offers and need to sell - go look at it!! Needs more/better pix - what they have sucks. But I really like it. Can’t comment on the price - but I’m sure that Ramblin Rover has thoughts—

Yeah, Ramblin and I have already been over this one a bit. The cliff notes version is that he made out like a bandit on his, ongoing work notwithstanding. For an all-there driver quality 2-door that looks decent to get down to 10k is rare. Either it’s hiding some bad cancer, or maybe people are inexplicably scared off by the small engine. I just wish I had the cash to offer with, I’m not really in a position to buy at the moment.

Well, the seller isn’t showing it very well, and the color/engine combo aren’t the most desirable. It might be full of bondo and frame rot, it might not - can’t tell from what’s there. If you can scare up enough $ to make an offer that won’t be offensive, I’d look at it—

Seriously, the interior is what I keep coming back to. It seems every non-show car Galaxie out here has an incomplete or missing interior. That makes this one gold .

It’s an XL - buckets that look nice, console is intact, and in general the whole thing looks to be in great shape.
I *looooooove* interiors from the early-mid 60's, and this is a VERY nice one right here.

Me too, and I miss my old ‘66 Fairlane something fierce. If it’s still around come the weekend I might have to at least go check it out. It’s about a 2 hour round trip.
