But I had fun with this little project. I was at my father in laws all evening because our dryer’s heating coil went out so I had to do laundry there. The house was empty and I was bored. I went out to skate and found a about a 28" 1x6 and thought “I can make a new skateboard with that” and so I did. Also I replaced the blower motor resister pack in the Fit, and rotates the tires. All in all a pretty productive warm summer evening.
Also to get the resistor pack out I had to modify my stubby screwdriver with bench grinder because Honda decided I didn’t really need to get to those screws.

I have a 7.7 Chocolate that’s usually on those roller skate wheels, it’s great for hanky spots. And a 8.0 Almost on 52mm hard wheels for the park. I wanted to try out the wider board thing.
I also have a 41" pintail Land Yachtz board.

Noice. I had way more boards (hell I used to shape my own) but I have, for better or for worse, whittled my collection down to a hot pink Globe with neon blue leopard print grip tape and my Apex 37 Diamond Drop on otang skiffs.

The coolest boards I’ve owned are these two. I found them at a Goodwill and bought them for 3 bucks Each! I kept the Caballero and gave the Lance Mountain to a friend. Sadly I landed premo on it a few years ago and split a chunk off It’s held on by the grip tape, I’ve thought about epoxing the plys back together but have never gotten around to it.
