I meant to do this like 1300 miles ago when i had just put the engine back in the alfa to make sure it wasn’t going to explode.

It got replaced by a poweradder

that’s like 50 more wheel horsepower right there

I also welded the now useless dipstick vent that went on the PCV for the MFI.

I knew a guy who was Amsoil-obsessed and Amsoil ran an oil filter comparison where AC Delco came in second to the Amsoil oil filters and nothing else was even close. So I use AC filters.

AC Delco filters are made by Champion Labs, so are K&N. US sold Bosch used to be as well as STP, Mobil1 and many others. Bosch chnaged suppliers. Amsoil used to be from Wix , not sure who makes them since Amsoil gave up on them.

Gave up on Wix, or gave up on filters in general? The latter strikes me as very unlikely.

Gave up on Wix, some of their filters are now coming from Asia. Wix it seems may be buying some of the filters it sells, now instead of making them, just rebranding.
