Between life and wanting to rally, I can’t see how a complex long term restoration fits. Plus as my parents house will be on the market soon, I don’t have a place to keep it other than a storage unit. Storage unit screams “project death” to me.

Don’t do a storage unit. Been there, done that, wasted a lot of money. I’ll never do it again. Sell it and buy another one later if you want to.

Wait, what Lotus do you have? Storage units can be scary unless there’s a concrete plan to get it back out of it at a relatively soon point. Those monthly bills will add up.
