To be able to keep selling them in Germany they tend to switch the name around to pretend it is some low volume car that is exempt from meeting all safety and environmental standards. I think the current name is Taiga.

They did manage to sell a few here in Chile just before airbag laws came in 2016, although they are planning to bring them back as commercial vehicles so that way they can sell them without any safety equipment. And this time alongside the “modern” lineup to compete with the popular Chinese brands.

You can still import them to the UK in LHD, they won’t set up the tooling for right hand drive again unless there is huge demand.

Yeah, double posting happened to me in another post as well. It usually only showed up twice in the draft and finished post was fine, but this time there was no way for me to fix it. And it wasn’t even such a well rounded picture.
