How about we keep calling it like it is; because that used to be a positive, until it involves those who don’t like being told they are terrible people. Does that excuse actual violence? No, and I don’t recall seeing anyone on the left tacitly endorsing the baseball practice shooter, nor did they with Kathy Griffin. And while what she did was going too far, that symbolism has been used throughout history for the same political statement.
I am all for working together, when the end goal is the same. But there is zero middle ground between working to make the ACA work better and simply trashing it because the black man did it.

Working together to fix shit would require that congressional republicans like Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell don’t try to push through “healthcare” bills that take $700+ billion worth of healthcare funding away from 20+ million people in order to give $700+ billion in tax cuts to the wealthy. That’s exactly what’s in these bills. They’re willing to hold their noses about Trump’s bad behavior because they know he will sign whatever terrible legislation they want in the name of it being a “win” for republicans.

That’s a pretty good rant. Funny you should mention the Kathy Griffin thing because it’s really not any different from what POTUS is doing, though she had to hari kari herself after the fact because she is a Snowflake.
I like the term Snowflake and I think it’s apt and from the perspective of an educator who is all over the middle, I think it’s an accurate stereotype and I keep saying it: that attitude directly brought us Donald Trump.
