Hey there all, I just finished watching Season 3 Episode 3 of Black Mirror and it was good enough that I’d like to recommend it to you all. Car related because there’s a pretty nice Red Miata at the end of that episode. And long weekend at least for me since my boss gave everyone Monday off and I’m normally a Monday-Thursday person currently at my internship.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but as an introduction. Black Mirror is a series on Netflix (probably somewhere else too) that has 45-90 minute episodes that “dark and satirical themes that examine modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of new technologies.” Wikipedia writes it better than I do.
The absolutely beauty of this show in my opinion is that it’s not part of a whole all together. They’re all separate episodes and this means you can watch it in whatever order, however many you want, without having to go through the boring middle episodes in a normal series. You can start with whatever episode and then skip around however you want.
If you do watch it this weekend or watched it before, drop a comment below and tell me what you think of it and what your favorite episode is! I’m still trying to go through all of them. I’ve only seen a couple, but this episode I just watched will make me commit to watching the rest now.

I just watched all three seasons not too long ago, and I agree, it’s a great show. I felt like season 3 was the weakest season though. It felt a little less thought provoking, and a little more tropey than the first two seasons. Basically I thought that the first two seasons’ episodes asked more interesting questions. I think White Bear and White Christmas were my favorite episodes.

I watched the first 2 seasons when I was living alone, and I had to make sure that I set aside some time to watch something more uplifting afterwards. A great show, and one that led to many discussions. If you have someone to watch and discuss it with, I’d recommend only doing an episode a day, so you have a chance to dive deeper into the themes.

It’s a pretty decent modern Outer Limits/Twilight Zone type show, but I find the episodes are pretty hit-or-miss. When they’re good, they’re great, but when they’re bad, I find it difficult to watch to the end.

Great show. My favorite is the one with the miata. Some of the episodes are a big miss, but overall I really like it. The rewind one and the one social media rating system one were also good.
