It was severely underwhelming. I feel like this video mislead me.

I’ve never been impressed with it. I’m firmly in the In N Out camp.

Yeah not my cup of tea either just felt like a grease bomb and no milk shakes? I prefer a double-double animal style at in and out any day. You can also get cheese frys at in and out.

French fries were nasty.

I prefer steak and shake to 5 guys. Fries should be crispy not soggy grease bombs.

THANK YOU! Honestly, one of the blandest burgers I’ve ever had. I’ve given them way too many chances because I keep getting dragged there. Five Guys sucks so bad. How hard is it to use....seasonings? Meat that doesn’t taste like basic blah? IDK, but you can’t just plop a bunch of toppings on top and fix bland meat.

I used to fly out of LAX often for a stressful consulting job. On the return flight I’d be tired, grumpy, and hungry, but munching on a double-double while watching planes at night was therapeutic.

five guys was good when the only alternative was McD that was cooked in a heating tray. Now just ok. Fries are good but @ weeks worth of salt

My house is in fastfood burger mecca. We have an In-N-Out right across the street from a 5 Guys, with a Smashburger around the corner. Five minutes the other direction gets you to Whataburger and a Steak ‘N Shake, with a Jack in the Box around the corner.
And right outside my office is a Shake Shack (with a Smashburger across the street). It truly is astonishing that I don’t have to wear a muumuu to work.

5 Guys is OK if you’ve never had In n Out and your only other burger options are BK and McD, but yeah, over rated and over priced. I can get an artisinal local-grass-fed-beef burger with local cheese and a veg and a side of poutine for the cost of 5 Guys (granted, its not fast service, but worth the wait).

My last ex literally gushed over Five Guys when she first had it, so we ducked in when we were out in London and honestly that was my impression too. I must admit that in general I don’t really like most fast-food burgers (they all taste pretty shoddy compared to a proper gastro-pub burger), but Five Guys was not the one to convert me...
