I found this Brooklyn baby at my local beer shop. At 13% I don’t think many people who unironically say “on fleek” would like it. Oh well. I like it.

Decent. Not terribly sweet. Nice flavor. I’m not sure it’s worth $1.50/bottle, but it’s a nice change of pace from the usual lemon or lime seltzer I normally drink.

decent is the right word. not exactly interesting, the depth of flavor isn’t really there and it could be way stronger. I don’t want to beer nerd out on it and read reviews, you know?

It’s the only thing I’ve consumed lately that has sugar in it (except for a Mexican Coke over at my favorite taco joint), so it’s a bit of a treat. And I like anything apple or watermelon flavored, although the watermelon beer I bought a few weeks back doesn’t really taste like watermelon :(

I’ve had watermelon beer before. It just has a generic slightly sweeter flavor than the equivalent normal beer.

This was a good find; they were giving out samples at a local specialty market. I like my beer a little on the tart side, and this one is flavored with cactus and grapefruit and was surprisingly good.
I’ve got some cans of a new cheap IPA from Trader Joe’s, but I haven’t had a chance to try it yet. Perhaps this weekend.

I’ve heard PNC is a great park. I’ve only been to Camden Yards (Orioles fan) but it’s also considered one or the best.

When I went to a local event a couple months ago Sierra Nevada had a few beers I’d never seen anywhere else. I think that was one but I didn’t try it. One of my favorite local breweries also makes different gose variations...they’re always refreshing and flavorful.

I actually drank one of those at a lousy, chain Italian restaurant (not my choice) last week for just that reason. Despite it being the best beer choice on the menu, I was still disappointed. Not much flavor to speak of, and really malt-forward for an IPA. It also didn’t seem to have too much punch in the way of ABV. In other words, exactly what you would expect from Sam Adams making an IPA.

Yeah, there’s an Italian place near my brother’s apartment where the “best” choice is the Boston Lager. Needless to say we only went once. The one near my work has a few good craft selections, including a couple from a local brewery, but nothing over 6%.

PNC Park is pretty nice. Hell of a lot better than the dumpster fire that was Three Rivers Stadium. I’ve never been to Camden Yards, but it is on my bucket list.
