Drivers that work for these guys are all idiots apparently. Happens all the time.
They might be all idiots, or it could just be a widespread case of “zero fucks given”. Sometimes operators of large vehicles (trucks, SUVs, etc.) develop a case of that around smaller vehicles.

Some certainly are. There still are skilled professional drivers out there, but the bad ones are the ones we tend to remember when we encounter them. Plus, trucking companies (like most businesses) are looking to cut costs, and that sometimes means hiring inexperienced people in place of the veteran talent.

I would argue it is idiotic operating any size vehicle. The consequences to the drivers of large vehicles just tend to be different than those for drivers of small vehicles.

Yes. This. So many times semis just have the “imma just go” attitude because, what are you going to do, hit them? Yeah, you might technically be in the right but you’ll also have a fucked up car or worse.
I’d also noticed this more and more with people. Frustrated because you’re trying to make a left at rush hour? Just go. Need to make a right but you’re in the far left lane? Just go. Want to merge but you’re going 30 MPH slower than the lane you’re merging into? Just go.
I mean... they’ll probably stop.
