I am in a strange mood today. I had a big argument with an old friend yesterday. I am sad that it happened, and frankly doubt that we will recover from it. Personally, I am over it, but he is a sensitive person who likely won’t be able to let it go.
On the other hand, one of my best staff people turned down an offer she previously said she wanted to take, and is going to stay with us. She asked for and got a significant wage increase, but she is well worth it. The nice part was that she said she wanted to stay because she likes working with us.
Tomorrow I am going to have my most difficult mediation ever. Not because of the other side, but because of my own client.
I think I need to check into a padded room for a few days.
[UPDATE!!!!!] I AM PICKING UP THE T-BIRD THIS AFTERNOON!!!! I cannot believe I forgot to mention this.
I love my Japanese cars. But god damn if there isn’t something fucking awsome about a big ass hunk of American steel.
And yes, the triangle of death needs to go. Replacement suggestions are welcome.
The day has already taken a turn for the better.

Good morning. I have had only one best friend in life, and we “broke up” a few years ago because I could no longer deal with his social and political rantings. We were always different people, but he went so far off the end that I finally had to say “fuck you” and end it. I’m sorry that it ended that way, and I have often considered reaching out to him, but I doubt seriously he had changed, and has probably gotten even worse in today’s hyper-partisan political climate.

For the love of god change that air filter out and get a paper one first thing! Those foam ones not only look terrible, but don’t filter all that well and will catch fire the first time it backfires. They are notoriously awful, yet ever “old school” car guy things they are the shit cause they were so cool in the 70's.

My best friend since highschool (since the early 90s) stopped being friends last year. Since I had kids, and started my renovations things changed since I no longer had as much time to spend with him. Since I started my renovations I always asked him for some help, he always replied he can’t since he had poker/work/workout.... till the last time I asked him for some help(which to me was an excuse to spend time with him since i didn’t really need the help) He replied something along the lines as he’s not my fuckn’ Ni***(slave term) and said I was worse than his worse enemy.....Worse thing is helped me once to move a piano. But the years before I helped him move, helped him fix his car a few times. Lent him money....
I told him to check his meds then he threatened me... I never talked to him since, Was down for a few weeks after, and didn’t really thing about it till your post.

Nice Bird. If you have trouble getting any of the chrome trim just remove it and fill the holes before you repaint. Its the way of most of the old metal I’ve seen at C&C lately. I’d suggest a brighter paint job, wheels, tires, brakes and fix some of the interior but otherwise no major changes. They may have switched the carb stuff around due to parts rarity, Find a good Ford forum online so you can pick some brains for info. Too bad Mexico has gotten more dangerous. I had a friend from Houston drive an old 60's GM convertible to TJ back in the 70's and get an entire custom leather interior done in 1-2 days for $500.
