Since my friend did the work it is still dirty in many places, I need to clean... Also it isn’t done completely, I need to get emblems. We are waiting for the covers from Japan too. Also he has had some issue with getting my rear bumper, I have one of his parts cars bumpers on it now. There was some vibration here and there so we actually took some poly bushings out and put rubber back and it feels better now. It sure growled all the way home, nice to get her back! Sun is going down, not great photos. I will take good ones later I promise!

Yeah those should be interesting, mounting them is a fairly big job, they have little plates to mount for them to mount to. It’s hard to see in the terrible pics but in the sun it’s really bright. I was so used to the faded paint.

I have some housekeeping to do, my friend did a great job polishing the paint but inside he left his dust, but it’s an easy car to clean, three mats and a wipe down.

Hopefully Sunday I can have a cleaning session and then go for a drive. I ordered the fender and hood emblems. My old hood had the holes filled in for the emblem but this new hood has holes so I will put it on there. But it won’t all come together until the rear bumper is new and the covers are on. I found out from translating that the covers are a fiberglass with a metal coating, so the later ones are not all stainless like the first ones. The pics look ok but we will have to see in person.

I guess the big job of mounting them will definitely be worth it though.
That’s probably because fading is such a slow process, but it sure does look good with the new paint!
