I’m working for an old, bitter, rich lady in a private community in Seattle. Rush Limbaugh (conservative radio) is playing through every speaker in the house at ear-bleed volume levels. The heat is set to 87° (I checked). She keeps complaining about EVERYTHING. some quotes below...

At one point she said that all politicians on both sides are corrupt because of the power they aquire and shorter terms should be on the table. I agreed with that, at least in theory.
Then she went back to talking about “the black man” forcing Healthcare down the throats of Americans. (yes, she was talking about politics the entire time I was there...)

Nah. I’m pretty calm regardless of whatever crazyness comes out of people’s mouths. For the absolute worst cases, I’ll just blacklist their numbers so I don’t end up working there again.
And besides, with every racist remark I mentally added $10 to the bill. At this rate my millennial self won’t need to worry about Healthcare!

Doing my part to help the community.
Here’s something interesting. After seeing some awards, photos, etc. In an office, I did some research.... Turns out the woman’s husband was a high ranking FBI Special Agent in the mid 70's through the late 80's, often working closely with the FBI director at the time. Neat!
So if I stop posting, I’ve been kidnapped for revealing secret info and I’m leaving my rescue operation in your capable hands.

Someone who hates window washers. Best part? 80% of the home has TWO SETS of storm windows in front of each window that can’t be removed, so with a total of 6 sides of glass per window section, I can only get to two of them. Assuming I can actually get to them at all with the decorative iron bars and awful screen designs, etc. I’m genuinely surprised she keeps calling calling back, as her windows look awful and even after doing what what can they’re not much better.
Now the gardener on the other hand is a got’ damn Saint...

Sometimes I can’t hold my tongue though.
Only the other week my manager said, “Sven I’m going for my break, the truck is due soon, if you let him in or not and start tipping, it’s up to you!”.
He went for his break, I went to get another cage to work, looked through the office window, no truck, got the cage and then went out onto the shop floor after working it I went for another and saw the manager was back from his break and was tipping the truck.
He said, “Sven you said you’d tip the truck!”. To which I replied, “no, I said when I go into the warehouse for another cage, if the truck was there, I’d let him in, and if he wasn’t I wouldn’t. You even laughed!”.
His reply was, “the truck was there!”.
I simply replied. “it wasn’t there earlier but if I had any in my pockets, you could have all the fucks I had”.
He’s also the same manager that I said, “If I gave you £20, would you go away, buy a dildo and go fuck yourself!?”.

From my experience, most churches are overall pretty good for people and try to teach goodwill and morals that are good for society. Also from my experience, people can screw it all up.
Try not to hold a grudge against religion, it’s as flawed as any other human run organization.
