This came from a place called The Rim Shop. It’s about to get a lift and some FUEL or ROCKSTAR wheels.

Random, sort of related question for you: How hard is it to find factory replacement leather for say, a 1997 Ford Crown Vic, lol? The leather in my car is old and cracked and I need to have the springs rebuilt/replaced in the driver’s seat as it is. So I figured I’d go ahead and replace the seat covers as well. But I want to keep it factory. I wasn’t sure if that’s possible though with the weird gray/blue interior this car came with.

I’ve seen a few dealers that sell trucks like this right out of the gate at an obscene premium. Smart move. My BIL bought one.

CST/Roadwire still has the patterns for the car. In the late 90s we were the port-installer for Ford leather. I’d find a good shop that installs Roadwire leather and find some decent salvage yard seats.

Then try to match the color with one of our swatches.

I think you’ll have an easier time finding used seats in better condition than finding the covers.

So many dealers have been buying trucks, throwing cheap lifts wheels tires on, and marking up $10k. People buy them.

Thanks. Good to know it’s something readily available. I’ve already check the local junk yards and all the seats I’ve found are just as busted as mine. So rebuilding the one I have is looking like my best bet at the moment.

I’ve tried finding some in the color I have and have been unsuccessful. Well, unsuccessful in finding ones that aren’t in the same shape mine are that is.

I don’t mind the red at all, not a huge fan of the other modifications that are to be going on it though haha.

Either way, those seats are much better than the horrible light grey cloth ones they stick in the Tradesman/Express trucks. Adding leather instantly makes them look much more expensive.
