Yeah. I have the weed wacker and edger attachments. I used to have the leaf blower attachment too. It worked well, but I sold it and bought a separate Stihl blower that I could add the gutter clearing attachment to. The motor head has been great. It’s six or seven years old now, and I’ve never so much as changed the spark plug. Everything is well made. I’ve been really happy with it.

The 131r?

I want to put a 8 inch round brush cutting blade. I was also looking at Echos, but only 28 cc compared to this 36 cc. I’ll probably rent the broom attachement every spring.

No clue. I just know that it beats raking.

I’ve been searching reviews for the last 2 days. This 36 cc is only 20.00$ more than the 28 cc echo PAS.

I rented the power room just this spring, passed it for 6 hours. Never expected that to be so hard. It pushes you completely back a few feet if you don’t expect it.

I sat put roller blades, & held the power broom behind me. I face planted hard.

I’ve wondered if the powerbroom thing was worth it. I may buy one when I move if so.

It is. It does push back lots, so you need a good trip on it.

I may be able to handle it. Well, unless it has more pushback that the adult sows I am used to dealing with. Haha

I’ve got one with the weed trimmer, power broom and pole saw. It’s 8 years old and has been bulletproof so far. It probably needs a tune up, but considering that I haven’t changed a spark plug yet that’s not too bad. It mainly gets used for weed trimming, and I’ve got a heavy duty head you can swap on that has three polymer blades for heavy brush. That is amazing for the stuff you can take down.

Personally, this was my first piece of Stihl equipment, and it’s convinced me to stick with Stihl for small gas equipment. It’s been pretty flawless.

I’ve got the weed walker, edger, blower, and hedge clippers attachments, all good stuff. I’ve had mine for 10 years and just last summer had to have the carb replaced due to ethanol fuel. So I’m really happy with it. I have the smaller home owner size power unit and it’s plenty powerful. Highly recommend it. Just don’t store it with fuel in it or better yet, use the non ethanol fuel. It’s relatively inexpensive if your just using it for home use.

My ryobi is about 20 years old. I bought my house 10 years ago and the old owner gave me his old ryobi and an old ride on john Deere r70 mower. The mower died about 5-6 years ago. I think a Stihl should last me a good 15-20 years.

I have mine at work and just checked it. It is a KM90, so I assume the KM91R is just an updated version. The KM90 has plenty of power for running everything I’ve thrown at it. I just finished clearing the ditch at work the other day. We must not have done it last year because there was a lot of fairly woody growth in the bottom of the ditch. I used the poly-cut mowing head and it chews through almost anything. I did finally kill the blades on it at the end, but that was because I used it to cut down a 1" tree that I knew needed to get cut with a saw or loppers. The blades are super easy to swap, it takes only a couple minutes total and replacements are pretty cheap.

I’ve got the straight shaft trimmer attachment, pole saw and power broom.

Easy. Mine is still running as good as it did when I purchased it. And other than the carb replacement, it’s been great.

i want to go get it tomorrow to play with it during the long weekend

Well that like $100 American right ;). I kid, I kid. But that does sound a bit pricey, but they don’t really deal on the prices as far as I’ve seen. Maybe on the extras, I got a nice mounting rack and some oil thrown in with mine. I just started with the trimmer and the edger. Then the following years I’d buy another attachment each spring. I’d only buy what you really need for now, you can always add to it later. I also just went with the 55km for mine, but I don’t think they offer the one I have any longer. You won’t be disappointed.

just the r131 head is 479.99 cnd (stihl summer special)

then 125 blade attachement, 28 the blade and 115 for the weed wacker. 80 for the harness + taxes....

Shit is expensive here in canada.

That’s no lie. You’re attachment prices are about the same as ours though. The bigger power unit was quite a bit more expensive back when I bought mine as well, not quite double, but close, so after the Canadian currency factor, you’re probably on par with our prices.
