In December of last year the genius madman that is Chris Sawyer ported RollerCoaster Tycoon to iOS and Android. It includes dozens of new scenarios and has translated perfectly to mobile.

I did miss that. Happy to throw a few bucks his way. I’ve always enjoyed RCT, but I’ve probably spent more time playing TT/TTD/OpenTTD than any other game, and I don’t think I paid more than $5 for any of them.

You’re not missing anything. I don’t think any port will ever be as amazing as Transport Tycoon. I was going to mention it here. I’ve spent so many hours on planes passing time with that game.

He ported Locomotion to mobile too. It’s under the name Transport Tycoon but really it’s Locomotion.

You’d remember it, TT mobile is a direct port of it. Same graphics, same scenarios.
Check out the soundtrack on Youtube. It’s pretty killer, with numerous songs ranging from ragtime to techno.

This is besides the point, but sort of relevant. The game Mafia is like, 50% responsible for my undying love of Django Reinhardt. I liked him before that, but listening to that endlessly really made me fall in love.
