I see no problem with your channel. Maybe some people in Omaha can’t handle criticism? If I had a dash cam I’d have a lot of material for Bad Drivers of OH, Bad Drivers of NC, Bad Drivers of VA , Bad Drivers of PA, Bad Drivers of WV and Bad Drivers of MD. I wouldn’t be settling for getting just a city pissed at me, I’d go for entire states.

Hahaha thanks. I actually was very aggressive and confrontational when I first got my license, but I’ve since calmed down a ton. I like that several of the comments claim that I was the one in the wrong in most of the clips. I rewatched that video and all I came up with was “Maybe I shouldn’t have honked at that white Kia?”

I really wish I’d had dash cam about a month ago. I had a girl in a newer Mini Cooper S who was on the phone, clutch in , no foot on the brake and rolled slowly backwards into me. It took her 20-30 seconds before hitting me. I saw it start rolling and was on my horn the entire time. It only put a minor crack in my license plate cover. When the bump happened we both jumped out and her first words were “ was that you on the horn?”. Duh? Yes! she jumped back into her car and ran the light which had changed by then. Somehow she went between two cars without getting touched. Guy behind me in traffic was out of his car too and we both shook our heads, got back into our cars and waited for the next light. That was in Cuyahoga Falls in Ohio at Graham Rd and Hudson Dr. I have no problem with posting somebody else in this world being lame. That stupid woman owes me $40 for a Weathertech license cover and I’ll never see the money.

I’m a pretty good driver, but I know I’m overly cautious for right turn on red. Especially if I can’t see because some asshole huge vehicle pulls up too far and blocks my view.

I think some of those guys are underestimating just how important good driving is, and overestimating how much effort it takes to put videos like these together.

People on here also seem to overestimate that. It takes all of a minute (at most) to find a clip I wanted from a day’s driving, and then I drag and drop that clip into iMovie and type a caption. After I’ve done that 20 or 30 times over the span of many weeks, I click the upload button, the video takes a couple hours to upload, and I type a description for YouTube if I want more than what I have set to post automatically. It’s very little time or effort.

my “favorite” comment is the guy (and you know it’s a guy, probably pretty young) who said it’s all “nit-picky bullshit.”
yeah, these are 4,000 lb hunks of metal, glass, and plastic. Complaining about people using them in an unpredictable or aggressive way is just “nit-picky bullshit.”
but I know what the problem is. a lot of redditors are guys with helicopter parents who are still having their asses wiped (figuratively speaking) by mommy. doesn’t matter how bad your transgression is, just wave it off with a “dude, what’s the big deal?”
reddit sucks, and redditors suck even harder. I bet most of those basement-dwellers don’t even have driver’s licenses.

As a fine gentleman of /r/atheists, /r/edgybois I find these videos offensive. Why must you judge me and post my plate info while “cutting you off” in my fine 1992 buick park ave plastidipped black. I had to rush home while carrying my payload of mtn dew and doritos to consume later before spending quality time with my waifu pillow. Now that my plate number is online, the lizard people can track me and put me in a FEMA camp. No longer I can ask random police officers idling in the Wendy’s parking lot and eating lunch if they’re detaining me.

I feel like that may be a pretty broad judgment to make about a really large and diverse set of communities. You really have to judge Reddit on a subreddit by subreddit basis, and there are definitely many which are what you described.
