Let’s just say they didn’t tweak it for production properly. The original sketch had a better headlight design, for the production one they stretched the front fascia too wide, making it misproportioned.

Saw first one outside of a dealer in that same color just the other day. They are nice but out on the street they don’t seem to have the same presence you’d expect from press and review photos.

Yeah Exactly, I mean I do really like it but if you swapped out the triangle grille it could pass as just another 3-series.

Yeah in non QF form the back is pretty derivative too. Could be a Mazda6 or Kia Optima at quick glance.

Yeah, it really is just the headlights. Looks as if they stretch it wide just to fulfil some transport department requirement where the turn signal needs to be, and ruined it, giving it this weird squinty eye look. You can see for the most part the design is the same.
