Just finished submitting my kids’ final end-of-year report cards for the first Term position I’ve had in my teaching career...sadly it ends in a week and then I am back to sub teaching and have no job for the summer yet, but the principal just emailed me and said she found absolutely no errors in them, so I am sitting here being smug, drinking a glass of sparkling Pineapple pop and feeling pretty OK. :)
Another plus is school being out means it will be time to finally install my new drivers’ headlight in Humdrum and maybe get my little LED lights mounted up and wired.
Was also given a free working laptop yesterday sans charger (one already ordered!)...old Emachines E440 dual-core AMD, but has better stats than mom’s current Dell and should run great with Linux Mint on it (which is what her current laptop runs). I know Emachines is the Daewoo of laptops, but this one is a later 2011 or so model after Acer bought Gateway/Emachines out, so it should be as reliable as most Acers...can’t complain!

Fan-freaking-tastic! I just got back from three days with my buddies at Road America for the IndyCar race. I put 45 miles on my scooter tooling around seeing all the different sites. I even got my one buddy to buy a scooter as well while we were there. We had a blast running around and exploring!
Now for shower and bed.

I am all right. Glad I was able to sell off my 928. Wish I could get a better one. Preferably a 1995 GTS
