In black my stance has softened a little. It’s still an ugly car but the black helps hide a lot of the busy lines and fake vents. Under acceleration with it next to me and my windows down I could not hear it. It was as quiet as any stock regular base civic. Huge swing and miss on Honda’s part

I think they did a good job with the noise. It reduces exhaust drone at speed.

The exhaust is intentional. Look at the S2000's massive mufflers!
A lot of guys will drop close to 50 pounds with an aftermarket exhaust but it’ll drone horribly. There some sort of equation to determine the length of exhaust/size of the muffler to eliminate that drone and Honda used that to determine the OEM system on the roadster. I wouldn’t be surprised if the CTR sheds 30 pounds with a more simplified muffler at the expense of horrible highway cruising drone.

It was as quiet as my Mazda 3. To the average person it’s no different than the past 20 years of people going all show and no go with ridiculous body kits on their civic. Granted, it has go, but I like to hear a performance car.

I’m sure. Just incredibly disappointing to see something that looks like the baby of a Gundam and a Civic that has the performance note of a Prius.

It’s right hand drive, had a roll cage and the driver looked like he was straight out of the Initial D movie. I think so haha. Not 25 years old though, maybe he illegally imported it or did a rhd swap.
