So far pretty fun. I skipped the Wii U as did pretty much everyone I know so this is the first time I’m playing it.

I don’t have one but my best friend does so we play often. I think it’s fantastic and to me it’s the first true modern Nintendo console.

Yeah the Wii U is definitely a good tech leap over the Wii and was the first HD Nintendo system... it finally felt in the same ballpark as Sony and MS. But it was just too derivative and the big tablet controller seemed too gimmicky to get my attention. The amazing thing to me about the the Switch is that it is basically PS3 power in a portable. Sure the PS3 came out 10 years ago but I still have my launch one that was like $500, weighs 11 pounds and has fans so loud you almost have to wear headphones when you play to block it out. And yet the graphics are still “real enough”. To get that from Nintendo and be able to take it with you is pretty sweet.
