There are at least a couple of Slingshots in this area. A coworker has a red one.

(Owner got in and drove off as I was composing this. Makes a very meh noise.)

I’ve seen more and more of these running around town lately. Maybe not the worst thing in the world, if you want to have the wind-in-hair experience of a motorcycle, but don’t want to ride exposed to every 2-ton car driven by an idiot. I’m not sure if you’d have to have a motorcycle license to drive one, though?

I saw two yesterday. One with speakers mounted everywhere in custom panels facing out towards traffic. It was also custom painted. The other seemed more stock except it had an exhaust that could only be described as “startling” since I jumped as he passed me on the right.

They seem really goofy to me.
