Can’t find them? Rock Auto has 4-5 different make ones for under $20 even a Ford Motorcraft one.

I think the mother of one of the people who just purchased my house has one, an 05 maybe. They said the air ride still works. It was like someone telling you they saw a unicorn fart rainbows.

I got my 2012 and had a really hard time finding maintenance parts for it. I would go to the major chains and search online, and they couldn’t even order me an air filter.

All new vehicles seem to have these rear shock mounts made out of aluminum. So this is what everyone has to look forward to. Except the new GM C1XX, made out of durable CAST IRON... in 2017, a vehicle manufacturer is still putting cast iron on their damned cars. Except the French the frogs are using plastic rear shock mounts.

Last time I saw a working air ride was in 2013. These people had bought it new in 04 when their son was an Audi salesman. He was now the general manager of the dealership and the car was very well cared for. They let me sit in it while the suspension raised and lowered. The bi-turbo was so perfect for the car.

This is a fairly common problem on first gen Mazda3s (to which your car is tangentially related). Not too difficult to change: http://oppositelock.kinja.com/how-to-change-the-upper-rear-shock-mount-on-a-mazda3-1659508332

I know it’s a little slower, have you tried amazon? I have the best luck there, can usually overnight if it’s an emergency.

It happens, I do parts all day long at work, comes naturally to me. Yesterday my challenge was to find a discontinued GM relay for a medium duty truck brake booster pump. Had to find cross reference to one made by Standard products and then crossed it to Borg-Warner. Had one from a local parts store within one hour which made the service department and tech very happy. Some days things work our sometimes not. The bad news yesterday was we installed a new A/C line on a Chevy Traverse that took 4 days to get from a backorder. While charging another line blew a hole in the hose. And the bad news is its on even worse backorder. Just be glad you’ll have your car fixed next week. Enjoy the weekend.
