I think this driver is taking Camry ownership a little too seriously.

Almost as good as this camry dent I saw. Don’t really get how people drive around like that. But then I don’t get a lot about camry owners.

A good friends son had a beige Camry with “the dent” in high school. They called it “The Dently.” He added many more over the course of year.

Just wait for the 2018, and its 301 horsepower. That’ll be nothing.

A few weeks ago on the UWS - related to the Camry, and just as easy to tear the cladding off ...

This reminds me of a time 15 years ago when a friend snagged his Altima bumper on a tree root in my yard and pulled it clean off in one piece... crazy how they crack and shatter these days.

Gonna need speed limiters for reverse.

My old man drives a Camry. I call it the white flag car. He got so beaten down over the years with unreliable VW’s, Chevys, Fords, and Nissans that he just threw in the the towel and bought a Camry. He takes care of it and maintains and washes it. And outside of the oversized button labels it really isn’t that bad. Yeah some people buy them because they can’t handle more than “put in gas, turn key, arrive at destination,” and end up driving ones that look like the one in your picture. But having driven them many times and even owned one myself (OK it was actually an ES300), I get Camrys. Average or above in every category adds up to a decent product if you don’t prioritize driving excitement. And yes there are other mid-size sedans that ride and drive so terribly (*cough* Sonata *cough*) that a Camry probably would seem grounded to the ground if that was your reference frame.

TL;DR: for every idiot who shouldn’t be on the road in the first place with a Camry, there’s Camry owner who just doesn’t have the time or interest to be an enthusiast but still cares about their car.
