I briefly stepped outside to take a personal call on my cell phone, and noticed this little guy hanging out on the railing outside the door. Thankfully I bring my good camera with me to work. I love this shot!
UPDATE: Ok, so according to more than one commenter this is actually a toad. I’m better at taking pictures than identifying amphibians.
UPDATE 2: The toad commenters are also wrong, this is a tree frog .

I shall call him Nike Air Carnivore , because that’s the sneaker he most closely resembles, in spite of not being a carnivore.

Is that a toad? It’s okay.

Yes.
You can tell by the way it is.
Namely its bumpy avacado like skin and lack of distinctive stripping on its legs. Also frogs have yellow eyes.
Toad.

The only toads I’ve ever seen in CO are horned toads like this. I did notice the bumpy skin on AtlasM’s “frog”. Also, I didn’t know that frogs have yellow eyes. I don’t remember the last time I saw a frog.

Nah that’s a gray tree frog. You can tell because of the coloring. Also toads are frogs.

Definitely a treefrog, not a toad.

Hmm, according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ Frogs of Wisconsin page , this might be a Gray Treefrog or Cope’s Gray Treefrog.

I’m a keeper of treefrogs, only treefrogs sit all tucked up like that. I originally jumped to pacific treefrog , but I think you might be right with a species of grey treefrog .
