But today my instructor told my class to take the parts to our transmissions we were taking apart in pairs and make *something* out of them.
His reasoning was that he didn’t want us systematically taking the internals out and just putting them right back in without really learning what goes where.
So there you have it, an Allison 1000 turned into whatever the hell that is.

To me this conveys a sense of sexual confusion and isolation. Like two male hamsters alone in a five foot by five foot room with nothing but them selves, a bare bulb for light and a pile of beer soaked nuts from last weeks dodgers game. Yet I feel like through all this there’s hope. A warm sensation fills the observer as they pan left and then right. It’s like, Milk is a mistress. and the supple nipple of an orangutan is my grandmother drawing me in for gram crackers and butter during a Angela Lansbury movie marathon on a stormy July night in the Appalachians. this is both love and loathing.

Good technique. I used that method when teaching my sister how to change spark plug wires. There was a firing order diagram to show which terminal goes to which plug, but routing the different length wires properly had to be figured out from scratch.
