At least if one tire explodes you can limp to the truck stop, if Mr. DOT man doesnt see you. So the roadside service guy doesnt rape you like your the last piece of ass on the earth.
Super singles are nice, but Duallies FTW.

I suspect for lighter loads and lower cost, super singles are the better option.
For heavier loads, I suspect duallies are the way to go.
