I’m fairly certain the first gen Ford Escape never came with 3.0 or 80s Toyota Tercel Wagon-style FULL TIME 4WD badges.

That 4WD badge is original, so is the ginormous ESCAPE chrome thing on the left. Not sure about the 3.0 badge.

I don’t see the 3.0 in any of the images I can find, but it’s funny how this post is now kind of a commentary on how chintzy and fake looking factory badges can be.

Well, at least it tells it like it is. 3.0 V6 and full-time 4WD. Looks pretty decent for a badge swap, it’s got my approval. Even the placement itself looks pretty good.
Clearly, someone did their homework before taking on this swap, instead of slapping on ‘poser’ badges that don’t fit the vehicle at all.

This is true, the non-factory badges match how the car is actually equipped.
Unless it’s a fwd 4 banger and they’re LYING TO US ALL.
