Yep, not only is it three Astra bodystyles from three different countries, two are Opels and one is a Chevrolet (the sedan being a redone Cruze, marking the end of the Cruze nameplate in Australia).

All of these cars are sold all over the world, the only difference is Opel/Vauxhall/Holden/Chevrolet badges.

Retooling factories is more expensive than shipping cars. Rather than set up multiple factories to each build 3 different cars for their respective local markets, GM builds each one in its own factory and ships them around.

Here in the US, our Chevy Cruze sedan is made in Ohio but the hatchback is made in Mexico. GM builds the Cruze hatchback for several global markets in Mexico and ships some of them to the US, because they sell a much smaller number of hatchbacks here compared to sedans so it doesn’t make sense to retool the sedan factory in Ohio to build hatchbacks.

This even became a political talking point from our pompadour in chief, who likes to make political statements about Chevrolet. He bashed GM for importing Mexico-built Cruze hatchbacks while conveniently not mentioning the fact that the overwhelming majority of Cruzes sold in the US are built in the US. GM had to issue a statement and everything.
