Pools seem like kind of a pain in the ass from a practical perspective.
But when it’s so damn hot and family and friends are over and you’re grilling and in the pool and having fun they’re the best thing ever in that moment.
Basically I just want a close friend with a nice pool :)

Actually once you have your chemicals all good and lots of chlorine, they stay clean easy. You just get and auto vacuum and maybe brush the sides once a week. Pools are easy maintenance if you maintain them.
One reminder in more chlorine is better. It is a myth that chlorine makes blonde hair green. The green is actually from too little chlorine and too much bacteria. Chlorine (think like bleach) makes hair litter with prolonged exposure. you can get a decent chem test kit at any pool supply or home depot and it takes a little to learn how to balance everything out, but it all gets really easy once you get the hang of it.

I’ve always said that I won’t get a house with a pool unless I can afford to have it cared for.
