I have so many questions. How did this get here? Did they change it inside the garage? Look at the state of the rim and tire - how long was this person driving on the popped donut?! My hypothesis:
This person had a flat on the way to an event near the garage. They changed the tire, and were running late. But the donut didn’t last long in downtown Boston, so it popped, amd they were so late for this event by then that they drove several miles to the garage on the rim of the spare wheel. It was replaced with ??? in the middle of the night after the event, and whoever made that series of decisions was having such a bad day that they just left the thing here.

Toretto popped it out in a race, but had to keep going to escape the squad cars. Once he found this garage, he changed the ruined wheel with his spare and left it while he limped back to his shop. That right there is a piece of (fictional) racing history. Can’t believe you didn’t snap it up for your living room.
