I feel that. But there are precious few opportunities for a Lincoln/spinal tap pun.

We need a promotional tie-in model Continental with black interior, black exterior, black wheels and special black grill. It’s like.. how much more black could it be? - and the answer is none. None more black.

On second thought, it’s a pretty good crossover. Rich middle and senior aged white dudes love starting the old band up, but infusing some more jazz elements.

(Steely Dan cover bands)

It’d work. The car might even look good blacked out.

But aren’t rich middle/senior aged white guys already their main demographic?

Interestingly enough, they’ve sold more Continentals YTD than the CT6, by almost 1,000 units. Not sure if that reflects well on Lincoln, or poorly on Cadillac. I have no idea what they goals are for these types of cars.
